Well, the first official event of Margaret and Matt's wedding summer took place at the Dally's on May 18, 2008...her first wedding shower. Her Aunt, Sharon, put the event on and did an excellent job. She brought the party in her SUV! The men were banished to the family room while the girls enjoyed a great lunch and then watched Margaret open her beautiful gifts. It was a wonderful afternoon.
This Christmas, Mark was given the extravagant gift of a seven day cruise aboard the Holland-America ship, the Westerdam, to the Southern Caribbean Island. Check out our pictures on www.flickr.com/groups/thedallys
Marky graduated from Bowling Green Highschool. To celebrate his accomplishment, we had a party on June 2, 2007. To view all the photos, go to www.flickr.com/photos/thedallys/ . We had a great day, the weather was wonderful even tho it rained for a brief time. the rain cooled things off and we went back to partying. There was a corn hole tournament and the winner got to break the pinata. Marky's Grandpa Graham was the winner and he smacked the stuffings out of the poor little pirate. Check out Margarets invention for cutting onions so you don't cry. Thanks to friends and family who helped us celebrate Mark's graduation.
In August, Lizzie and I went with to Suzy to Chicago on a business trip. I thought I would include a few pictures of our trip there. All three of us walked around after Suzy was done working, and Lizzie and I explored the city during the day.
Mark and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary by taking a camping trip to upper lower Michigan. We camped near Sleeping Bear Dunes and took a canoe trip. Other than the first night when the campers near us played classic rock music and we threw everything in the car at 12:15 am and fled the area and drove around till 3:15am and finally got a hotel room.... We had a great time.
